As a Creative Director at Armstrong White, you will put your well-honed conceptual, strategic, and leadership skills to work creating and leading the execution of ideas that solve client problems. You will drive the creative strategies and execution that address client needs and build dynamic 3D branded content for all media channels, facilitate brainstorming, mentor your team, collaborate with our partners both internally and externally and sell your vision to our clients, and you will be accountable for all of it.
Work directly with client contacts to help establish the creative/marketing objectives, strategies, tactics and final, required creative executions.
Drive said concepts and creative strategies based on input from client, account service and other internal/external team members
Develop & deliver innovative proposals to capture both account growth and new business opportunities
Actively participate in client presentations (both up-front fact finding meetings, as well as the presentation of finished creative strategies and executions)
Help build trust-based relationships with clients
Continually grow, learn and experiment with new and innovative ways in which to solve client problems, and how to turn those solutions into innovative, dynamic creative executions
Ensure that the creative output is innovative, of exceptional standard and delivered within the project timelines and developing staff members; work closely with CGI 3D team leads to collaborate on creative (direct reports to be confirmed)
Support the overall direction of the creative team
Help other junior team members with priorities; know when to push the creative envelope
Work with the partners to develop, monitor and modify allocated creative department staffing strategies and plans, including; Team composition, Team performance, skills, training and mentoring
Promote continual improvement and a culture of excellence and accountability through driving: Creative discipline excellence, Operational excellence, Industry expertise
Keep up with latest digital, social and mobile trends in advertising knowledge various client industries – automotive, CPG; understand advertising and people trends, successes and challenges; continually learn and embrace new ideas and approaches
Remain connected to local advertising community to tap into new approaches and talent solutions
Work as an integral part of the overall advertising team by nurturing customer relationships, both internal and external
Utilize experience to plan and implement effective creative processes and products
Understand, embrace, and communicate and contribute to our creative culture
2-4 year experience managing creative team; 10 years related work experience. Automotive experience a must.
A strong knowledge of graphics and 3D CGI for design
Exceptional design sense
Comprehensive experience in concepting and directing branded imagery for tier one use in all mediums (print, digital – still and motion)
Experience leading strategic brainstorming sessions, campaign development, creative brief development and directing creative execution
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Reputation for selecting and developing highly qualified employees to sustain superior overall quality of client services
Refined personal development skills
Experience with PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, Keynote
